The night started out strong with qualifying 3rd out of 20 tough competitors. Started 4th in the heat to end in first and then taking the checkered flag in the main event! This was Jake's second time this year at Delta Speedway and felt the challenge. Feeling the win was by far the best though. Jake WINS the Tachi Palace National Title

Lemoore Raceway in Lemoore, CA hosted the Tachi Palace Nationals in a two day event which brought out many tough competitors from around the state. On Friday night in the Super 600 class, 27 cars began the evening. Jake qualified 1st, took 3rd in the heat, 4th in the dash and 3rd in the main event. The 2016 Turkey Bowl at Stockton Speedway was a highly competitive weekend of great racing! After getting great passing points through the heat and qualifier races on Friday night, Jake went into Saturday night as the points leader. Through the pole shuffle Jake came out getting outside pole for the start of the 16th annual Turkey Bowl. A trip to The Highbanks Hustle at Southern Illinois Speedway in Marion, IL has always been on Jake's bucket list of tracks and events to attend. Jake takes the checkered flag in the 50 lap Mark Hagopian Memorial race on September 22nd!
